## Running porecamp on a local server or laptop
We would recommend using Virtualbox.
Download VirtualBox.
Then download the virtual machine image:
Porecamp raw image for virtual machines
Create a new machine image of type:
- Ubuntu 16
- Memory size: 8Gb
