Timetable

Participants will work in three teams, which will be formed on Monday. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, each team will spend the day at a different station:

• Library Prep will take place in the AMBL Teaching Laboratory
• Sequencing will take place in MSL 102 (the lecture theatre - up the small stairs just outside the bubble room)
• Bioinformatics will take place in MSL 101 (the bubble room)
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday coffee is at 10am and 3pm outside the bubble room

Monday, May 7

• 9:30-10:00am: Registration (MSL Lobby)
• 10:00-12:00: Introductions, Team Formation (MSL Theatre)
• 12:00-1:00: Lunch (on your own)
• 1:00-5:00: PoreCamp Lectures (MSL Theatre)
• 5:15-7:30: Opening Reception (AMS Nest Roof Deck)

Tuesday, May 8

• 8:30-9:00: Bioinformatics Prep (Bubble Room)
• 9:00-12:15: Rotation 1 - Morning
• 10:00: Coffee available in lobby
• 12:15-1:00: Lunch (on your own)
• 1:00-1:45: ONT Data and Analysis with Jared Simpson (Bubble Room)
• 1:45-5:00: Rotation 1 - Afternoon
• 3:00: Coffee available in lobby
• 5:00-5:30: Group Discussion (Bubble Room)

Wednesday, May 9

• 9:30-10:15: Travel to the Vancouver Aquarium for our sequencing field trip
• 10:15-5:00: Sequencing at the Aquarium - lunch voucher provided
• 5:00-9:00: Closing party at the Aquarium
